From 29th to 30th April 2024, the Department of Water Quality Management in collaboration with Water Resources Institute conducted a Training "upskill on operation and maintenance of the Water Quality Research vessel" that was procured by Ministry of Water and Environment from China. The trainees were composed of Water Quality specialists and boat ride crew The trainees later proceeded for a hand-on practicals on Lake Victoria.
